St. Petersburg is becoming one of the best cities to live in with its bustling downtown, waterfront views, and vibrant local culture. What makes St. Pete so unique?
Our sunshine city also known as “The Burg” to locals has been the best kept secret of northerners looking for warmth. St. Pete is now on the map and this has brought both visitors and new residents.
Our downtown has luxury hotels, museums, restaurants and music venues all walking distance away from one another. You can walk down the waterfront on your way to lunch at a 5 star restaurant or stop at one of our many food trucks that have become a staple in town. St. Pete has perfect “walkability.” Downtown has everything you might need to have a wonderful and fun day.
St. Pete Indie Market
The St. Pete Indie Market and the Saturday Morning Market are perfect to look for a little art piece or goods made by the St. Pete community. If art is your thing then also check out the SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival. In September, this is an interactive look at the murals around the city and artists involved.
There’s an Octoberfest, a Beer and Wine Festival and of course Ribfest. Oh and dont forget the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Pete! On top of all this there are several craft beer bars to taste US made craft beers before heading over to the rocking outdoor Jannus Live music venue.
Our St. Pete residents are making this a city everyone will want to come to.
Of course there is also the white sand beach which is one of the best beaches in the United States. There are great restaurants and shops near the beach as well to check out after a relaxing day.
These are just a few events and attractions that make St. Pete great. Take a look here for more things to do. If thinking about moving here or just taking a vacation remember that St. Pete has much more to offer than just sunshine and a lovely tan!
